To further Projects Zen’s funding, Grand Traverse Pie company provided us with their chocolate cream, key lime, apple, pumpkin, and cherry pies. Each department set out a goal of selling five pies per person to reach our end goal of more than 100 pies sold. Individuals of our departments spent their time in and out of school selling pies. We achieved our end goal selling 121 pies, and a grand total of $968. We used these funds towards research and the development of our products to start up our company.
